STIRLING

The story of one of the most recognisable names in British sport, tracing his meteoric rise from teenage racing prodigy to a globally renowned superstar.

Following his death in April 2020, this cinematic feature documentary revisits the extraordinary life of racing icon Sir Stirling Moss. Known as the greatest driver to never win the F1 World Championship, this film is a dynamic journey through an astonishing career, packed with heart-stopping moments of triumph and tragedy.

Charting Moss’ meteoric rise from teenage prodigy to global superstar, this film encompasses many of his defining races; from his against-the-odds victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia, to his devastating, career ending crash at the Goodwood circuit in 1962.

Combining rare archive with poignant interviews, this film also reveals Moss’ off-track life, where personal relationships clashed with the demand of racing in an era of extraordinary danger.

Featuring contributions from Moss’ family, friends, and many legends of the sport, ‘Stirling’ is the definitive story of a motor sport pioneer.
